    Peanut Butter

Is peanut butter an incomplete or complete protein, and is it considered a meat source?

well unless you can make peanut butter from chicken, i don't think its a meat source

I'm not too sure about the complete or incomplete protein thing though.

Well, the reason I ask is because my trainer said that peanut butter could be subsituted for meat in a meal. Thanks for your input.

how much protein does PB have anyway? I don't use it, so i really don't know.

Also, you're using the natural peanut butter right?

I supoose it COULD be , but meat is by far a more "complete" protein. Besides, who can eat 1 or 2 tbsp of PB and thats it?

It is incomplete, and should be used as a fat source, not a protein source.

Just to repeat...PB is an incomplete protein source as are all nuts and seeds...use it as a quality fat source and take the protein as a BONUS!
