    protein, simple carbs, and bcaas

ok.. i've got my diet down, and i've got my training routine lined out, the last thing i'm trying to figure out is my pre/post workout stuff. I think that some simple carbs, protein, and bcaas is the way to go? After extensive searching i cant really find how much of each i really need to take and whats the best form of each to go with. I'm 5ft 10, 180 pounds at about 15-16% bf.

I really only take in simple carbs right after training. My protein contains BCAA's, and I get the rest from food.

Depends on what you want. E.g., if you were trying to lose weight, I'd stick with protein only. What's your goal?

In that case, I'd definitely throw out all simple carbs. The added protein should make sure you're not eating up your muscle while training.
