    Bean help!!

Hey Im eating a bowl of beans here but cooked 3 bags as a stew.

Do you know what the conversion of dry to wet is? like 1/4 cup dry=1 cup wet?

Beans are great for protein as Im sure you know....just stay away from the canned shit.

Mmm beans, good for the heart, the more you eat the more you fart.

I usually cover them over with about 2 inches of water, no science here!

Try some sliced jalepenos in them, they're greeatt!

I assume that by "canned shit" you mean like Bush Baked Beans, which are flavored with sugar and other things like that. But there is nothing wrong with using cooked plain Goya beans and flavoring them yourself.

Otherwise, soaking bags of beans overnight gets to be extremely tedious.

    1) They have low soda regular beans

    2) Ease of compliance factor with all diets is crucial. It is far easier to open up a can of beans and heat them up than to go through the whole long soaking and cooking process of bagged beans.

    3) Do you have a medical problem that requires a very low sodium diet?
