So over the past few months I have been working a job from home and honestly the only time I do anything active is when I work out. That being the case I have packed some good old fat back around my waist. I really need to drop this garbage and get into the single digits (which I have never done) before I go back into a more active lifestyle and clean bulk. I'm 28, 5'7-5'8 and 145lbs at the moment. My maint level is around 2200 and my BMR is about 1600. Honestly, even when eating 1700 to 1800 calories I am not moving one way or the other as I have been attempting this the past few months and eating more around my 2200 and even slightly over isn't going to solve the problem as that's how I got here in the first place.
So my question is what do you think about dropping it down further to below my BMR? Keep in mind I will actually be eating more like 2300-2400 calories a day but creating the deficit through training.
Diet is 72g fat/day, 216 pro/day and the rest is filled in by low gi carbs (half of which is split to pre and post workout)
