    bulking

    Hey, Im 170lb male who has been weightlifting for over a year and a half. I wanted to check if Im eating enough for my size because gaining weight seems to take forever:

    Breakfast: bowl of weetabix with fruit
    Lunch: beans on toast
    meal 1: chicken breast, wholeweat pasta, veg
    meal 2: salmon steak, wholewheat pasta,veg
    meal 3: Pot of cottage cheese

    (I only ever take protein shakes post workout)

    I am a student so balancing cost and the time to eat these meals takes real effort, however any suggestions for me to improve are welcome, cheers.

    What are your maintenance calories?

    How many grams of fat, protein, carbs do you eat each day?

    If you don't know the answer to those questions, read the link in my signature and get that information figured out.

    Also, pick a training protocol that isn't ridiculous.
