Well, I HAD this client who was an utter idiot, so I thought I would share since she switched trainers.
So, this woman comes to me to lose some weight and i told her I could help her do this. I asked her which it would be easier to give up, carbs or fat. She said carbs and I recommended a CKD. Set up the diet with her and told her what to avoid. So, a week or two went by and she asked why she had not lost weight. I said, "Are you eating carbs?" She said no, so i asked her what she ate that day. The first two things she said she ate were an apple and a banana. I told her that these were carbs and went back over the whole carbs are basically all plant derived foods and sweets. She said that she now understands what a carb is. So, two weeks later, she asks me why she still wasn't losing weight because she was not eating carbs. I asked her what she ate. It all sounded good but then she interjected something. "Oh, wait, I had some pumpkin pie, but I only had the inside part, I didn't eat any of the crust." My head sunk into my hands. "A*****, what is a pumpkin." This stumped her. "It is a plant. And Andrea, what type of taste does a pumpkin pie have? Is it sour? Salty? Oh wait, it's sweet isn't it? And what do sweet things generally contain?" So, anyway, She switched trainers today, because her lack of progress could not possibly be due to her inability to follow a diet, it must have been my workouts. Stupid Bitch. :D
