For starters you need to work out how much protein you need per day.
you need 1.5 grams of protein per lb of bodyweight.

hence if you weigh 190 lbs you x this by 1.5 to get your protein per day.

It is actually 1.5g per lb of LBM, so if you weight 180 and are 10% BF, your LBM is 162. So your daily protein intake should be 243g.

Also, less shakes and more real food (chicken, tuna, beef, etc.)

Shakes are good post workout or in a pinch, but you need to eat food in order to grow.

What does LBM stand for? Lean Body Mass, or something else?
