I am currently using Optimum Nutrition Whey Protein. I take with a Fibre Supplement and 100 percent orange/Grapefruit juice(no added sugar). I have read posts about taking with milk because the fat content slows down the protein absorbtion. Is this juice OK, I prefer the flavour.

I take my protein with water in the morning 1/2 to 3/4 of an hour before working out as well as 1/2 cup of oatmeal. Since I'm not in a cutting phase, this keeps a good nutrient base in my system so I don't run out of steam in the middle of a workout. I still take a creatine/protein stack right after my workout as well.
At night beforew bedtime, I drink my protein with milk so the absorbtion is slower and lasts longer into the night before catabolism starts.
Weight lifting is like " Mind over Matter". If my body doesn't mind---the weight doesn't matter!!!!!
