Just want opinions yes i knwo stupid but I am trying to bulk up after being a big cut for wrestling and suffering from bulimia, just want to know if i am fat or if my lower belly is just bloated from all the water and food on bulk. thanks i didnt know where to post this so i stuck it here. sorry if i waste anybodys time.

Im 5'10" about 163 165 when pics were taken a couple of days ago. body fat between 6-8 percent according to tape measurements and BIA, just cant get ahold of a skin caliper and dont want to spend the money, because im bulking and trying to get over bulimia and this mental state and trying to commit one hundred percent to this bulk.

Not really sure what the issue is w/ "being fat" -- most guys tend to hold their last bit of fat in the lower abs anyway, so I wouldn't get too hung up about localized "fat" or not. For many, including me, it takes getting down to about 4 weeks out on a const test diet to get rid of that. Its more a matter of being the area where you tend to have the highest concentration of fat cells. Also when you're doing a cut, it can be an area where you have lost bodyfat but need some extra time & dieting for the skin to catch up & you can get the deflated balloon look for a while.

BTW a skinfold caliper is like $6 (+ shipping) - Amazon.com: Accu-Measure Fitness 3000 Personal Body Fat Tester: Health & Personal Care

Man, you might have a slight amount of fat, but I wouldn't worry about it. I spent my first 2 years working out worrying about a little pudge, and therefore did not eat enough, and therefore did not grow. It's tough to get past that mental block, but if you can accept that you will gain a small amount of bodyfat on a bulk and that you're probably going to be kind of bloated from the volume of food, you will GROW! happy bulking

if you just bulk up a little with clean diet, no junk food kinda stuff, I think the added muscles along with muscle separation wil impress u. sometimes we want o lose weight so we can see out mucles but somotimes, just adding more muscle will make what you want pop too. Plus, more muscle means higher metabolism so your body will be using up more calories every day which is a positive thing.

Train hard, eat clean and in 6-12 months, I dont think you will be looking at the residual fat you have, you will be staring at a transformation.
