    40/40/20??

ok so im in pretty good shape and around 12% bf at 165lbs 28 years old. I havent really been tracking my intake like i use to. And would like to get my abs a little more defined before my cruise in a few months. I have been searching online for some healthier high protein recipes and have found quite a few. some of the recipes are high protein/low fat and some are high protein/low carb.
My question is: is the 40/40/20 a good ratio to guide my meal plan on?
I know i just need to lower my caloric intake a little lower than maintanance, but i havent been eating like i should (junk food, ice cream, and quick breakfasts) . I basically need an idea of what ratio is all around good for healthy eating my wife will be following it too. We both want to start eating healthier and tracking on fitday, but we just need a basic guideline.

The problems we face today are because the people who work for a living are outnumbered by the people who vote for a living

They are no magic number but I get close to what jag gets. But make sure the fats you getting are good fats (natural pb, fish oil, flax oil, etc.)
