i sometimes find i'm a little low on my protein gram-age. tonight i've decide to have my normal 2 doses of whey and possibly mix in say 5 egg whites. that's 50g whey plus 27 whites.
is this too much whey in one sitting and will this go towards my protein count or will some of it be wastage due to the amount ones body can naturally absorb?
Your body will not throw out extra protein, (unless its stupidily high)
otherewise your body will hold onto it and digest it gradually.
Dont worry
But dude you should definately have some fat with that meal. Eating just protein may cause an insulin spike, healthy fats will help your body digest it much slower with much steadier insulin.
1-2tbsp Flax oil, or 1-2tbsp olive oil, or couple egg yellows.
