    Insulin Question!!!!

Hey everyone! How ya all doing!

Ok, what is the best nutrition to have after your post workout shake, when your insulin levels are starting to die????

Like after my workout i have a mix of WHEY and Dextrose (50/50) so what should i take in like 30 minutes after that when my insulin levels are going back down? I was thinking some kind of Oat or Fiber? What do you all think???

About 1 hour after your post workout shake you should take in a food meal of both protein and a carb. The protein can be meat, chicken, fish, eggs, etc...and the carb can be a potato, yam, rice, pasta, oatmeal, etc...

About 1.5 - 2 hours after that, you can eat again (protein + carbs).

I should have mentioned that I will also take in some fat with the other meals...aside from postworkout. However, the fat is naturally occuring in my protein food.

Ginger can aid digestion, or so i've heard. Dunno if it's true.

It can also aid in reducing gas release, or so i've heard. Dunno if it's true.

And can be used as an appetite stimulant, or so i've heard. Dunno if it's true.
