    So...30g at a time eh?

I just saw a doco on Bob Sapp, a fighter standing at 200cm, 370lb+ and a fat % low enough to show the beginings of abs.

He takes in three protien shakes a day along with three meals. Each shake contains 130g of protien

He`s obviously not natural, but I just found it humours.

This pic really doesn`t give you any idea of how fucking huge he is, but I thought I`d add it anyway.

Hey I take 75g two times a day and I’m not were near 370lbs what’s up with that. Personally I don’t believe you can only use 30g of protein at a time. That’s one guy I wouldn’t mess with he’s a freaking beast.

I agree, that seems like a waste of good protein. I think you would be better of spreading it out into a couple more meals.

That 30 grams a meal myth has been dispelled for a long time. The amount of protein that an individual can digest (which is any amount in the GIT) and more importantly utilize will depend on the input/output demand of that individual and the amount of LBM that the individual has...

For some reason people think digestion and utilization are synonymous, which they are not. ultimately anabolic activity will determine how much protein is utilized to synthezie new muscle tissue

    Ditto to what LAM said.

Protein has about a 98% digestion rate. Meaning that if you eat 300g at once, it will just sit in the gut longer and it will take longer to digest but it will still digest.

If you want a laugh, go find a thread on WBB where Duque starts talking about protein absorption maximums.

Yan, he posts on avantlabs. You should PM and hear what he has to say. It's quite humorous.
