my post-workout shake

Going out of town today and gonna buy me some supplements.
This is my new protein shake:
Whey protein powder (22g protein)
5g glutamine
water (instead of milk as to not slow down protein synthesis)
creatine (not too sure how much I should take help)

Suggestions? Any other times throught the day I should take any of this stuff (how much?? I'm 17yr male @ 120lbs)? Also somewehre on here i read that vinegar helps replenish glycogen, should i add that to the shake?

creatine: take 5g post w/o.

Just 22g of protein?!?! I would double that my man! Put in another scoop! And def. throw in some creatine, 5grams worth.

I usually use milk and egg substitute for my post workout shakes, not water. Should I stop doing this?

Both slow down protien synthesis

Whey is the best for post workout because is has shorter amino acid chains making it break down quicker

1tbs crushed peanuts
1/4 pint of milk

Yeah, it looks like a lot of sugar too (milk, yogurt). How about just the cottage cheese, maybe w/some fruit (apple or strawberries)? Or how about a can of tuna fish. You can always get cheap protien on line or just find out what kind of sales GNC is having. If you still cant affored the protien there are much better protien alternatives then milk and yogurt.

wouldn't buying a bucket of protein be cheaper than buying all of the other crap you need to eat that other stuff? Protein powder goes a long way.
