Fggs, Sounds like a great plan. I think protein powders and dextrose are useful. Most people like to use them more for their convience then their actual crediability over using solid foods/ Juices post workout. Just make sure your getting about 40 to 60 grams of protein post workout and also obtaining the right amount of simple sugars to encourage the anabolic process.
