Please help !
Brief background.
Male, 25 yrs old, Rugby Player
weight - 286lbs
height - 6 feet 4
weight i would like to be - 240lbs
Up until 18 months ago i trained regularly and played rugby to a reasonable level. Aftr 18 months of inactivity and gaining 50 lbs! i rejoint the gym and begin to diet approx 3 weeks ago where i have lost approx 8lbs.
But i still obviously have a long way to go and would like to lose th weigh without sacrificing too much strength (i need to get my strength back but realise il probably have to do this once ive shred the weigh).
Training
I am currently training 6 days a week.
3 x weights (compound movements)
3 x spin (45 mins)
Nutrition
This is where i am rather clueless!!!!
since starting to diet my average macros are:
Calories - 2200
Fat - 80g
Carbs - 230g
protein - 150g
From what i can gather i think maybe i should try and get the carbs down which i difficul as i love my breakfast cereal! Also maybe up the protein which i am also finding difficult as im allready consuming 3 boiled chickn breasts and 2 shakes a day. i am concious about consuming too many calories..
