Insulin Index! Good Read!
Both are mere "guidelines", neither is totally acceptable versus customized nutritional programs for each individual's, genetics, metabolism, somatotype, goals, needs and desires!

I notice that Glycaemic Index is referred to quite often.
Recently, I learned of the Insulin Index, or II.
See http://venus.nildram.co.uk/veganmc/insulin.htm
and

There are some surprising differences between the two indices. Milk & yoghurt are low-GI but high-II.
Any comments?

ditto to Dr. Pain
I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.
add to that, the fact that you hardly ever (well atleast i hope) eat a sweet potato or yogurt by itself. You always have meals, when you start combining different foods with different II/GI, those numbers become fairly meaningless.
