    vanilla and almond extract

I was thinking about adding either of these in my protein shakes. I have looked up both and there doesn't seem to be any reason why I should not. Seems that there is 7.5 % fat oils in the almond ext and I am guessing these would be good fat correct. I would like to see what some of the higher ups here think about these extracts. Possible benefits that I have over looked good or bad ? Or would there no benefit at all other than for flavor ???

Sounds tasty. You will need but a drop, since it's so strong.

You're serious? You're actually looking at the nutrient profile of flavouring?

Dude. Go get laid or something; you're overthinking this.

Yea. I mean some folks take this stuff WAAY to serious. I wish I had the fortitude to really get as anal as some of you folks. I'd be ripped to shreds!

nah man, just put a drop or two in there and go for the taste. I use vanilla in cottage cheese. Makes it way more palatable for me. Sometimes a little dex or splenda/etc., the latter if I'm low carbin'.
