    6 small meals

ok guys, heres my plan, i fonud this great protein powder on DPSnutrition.com. it's called "eclipse 100% whey protein" its in chocolate in a 5 pounds bucket with 99 servings for only $25. do any of you guys know if this is good powder or not? im thinking about getting some and then heres how it would work.

meal 1 6:45 a.m. - eggs and bacon and milk
meal 2 9:30 a.m. - protein shake in water after gym class.
meal 3 11:24 a.m.- lunch, whatever i have but ill keep the healthy stuff and sell whatever bad stuff i have
meal 4 3:30 p.m. post workout protein shake
meal 5: 7:00 p.m.- supper, ill keep with leans meats and maybe throw in some mash potatoes and crecent rolls.
meal 6 about 10 or 10:30 p.m.-pre sleep protein shake.

how do you guys think that will work out? i will give it a try cause i got about 10 serving of nitrotech left so ill try that in place of the other stuff to see if i can keep up this diet. will this help me build more muscle than 3 meals a day with little snacks in between? shouldn't it help me burn fat too?

I can't comment on the quality of the protein, i don't know much about that particular one.

It might help you gain some muscle, but only if you are eating over maintanance, remember protein powder is only protein, its like eating a piece of chicken, so don't expect magic.

Oh yeah. No, protein powder won't help you burn fat.

HAHAHAHA! that was good. QB's are hard to come by in the offseason but no, i didn't mean the protein powder will help me burn fat, i know it wont, but ive heard that six small meals instead of 3 big ones can speed up your metabolism. i'm not sure what people meant by that though.

What people mean by that is that eating smaller more frequent meals throughout the day will keep your metabolism working. However, eating only three meals, there is to much time between the meals and your metabolism can slow down and possibly stop which means no fat loss. Also if you don't eat frequently enough your body might think it is starving and start storing your meals (eek).
