    Question Calorie counting

How do you know the number of calories in food? Is it calculable from the grams of carbs and fats?

There's books on that stuff. You can probably pick up a paperback version for around $8 at most book stores. Some only count carbs, or fat or whatever, but there are some that count carbs, fat, sodium, iron, cholesterol, etc.

Unsaturated, Polyunsaturated, Saturated and whatever types of fat all have the same amount of calories of that's what you mean.. I don't even know what MCFA or MCT stand for.

    Try www.fitday.com

Alot of people here use it to track daily intake. It does most of the guess work and you can customize foods if they dont have exactly what you are looking for!
