    Thumbs up Carb loading

    Hey guys,

I want to know how to carb load the correct way..

Ive never carb loaded before and i want to start incorporating it into my diet asap!

So im wondering do you carb load just once a week? If so does it matter when? is it better to do it at the start of the week or the end? or does it really make no difference..

Also whats the science behind it?

    How effective is it?

Do you try to get as little protein as possible on carb loading days?

And last but not least: Can any one give me some foods that are good for carb loading im guessing lots of brown rice and pasta off the top of my head would any one be kind enough to tell me what there eating on the carb loading days..
Through every dark night, theres a bright day - pac

It depends on what diet are you using, there is no universal formula

No, you still need your full daily protein intake

You can go just with rice, that would do it
You need to be more specific about your diet and goals with loading.

If u just done a cut than start to increase your calories slowly as to avoid fat gain and rebound weight. I get like 9lb in a couple of hours when loading lol

    So do this:
    1. Slowly increase your calories until you get to a point where you want (your maintenance calories + how much you want to be in a plus)
    2. Watch to not add too many carbs to avoid fat gain.
    3. You don't want to avoid all fats. Be sure to add at least 1 tablespoon of flax oil and 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil to your diet daily. (on salads, shakes or drink it straight from the spoon and down it with water)
