Just eat and stick your finger down your throat if you wana fit into that little dress. You don't feel as hungry and you lose weight! Best of both worlds!

As an experiment, after having read about intermittent fasting, I decided to try not to eat anything at all yesterday, and eat only protein today...
What I found is that I fine eating nothing yesterday. All my cravings went away after a few hrs. But today eating small amounts of protein (100g protein from chicken breast) I feel gross and am really craving carbs again!
Why would this be, when I was feeding my body nothing... as opposed to protein, which it needs today?
Just a question,

I've heard of people having good results using intermittent fasting. Aka you still eat the same number of cals/protein except you cram it into few hour window and then fast until the next day. Never done it so I can't explain fully but a google search should give you more details. It sounds like you're pretty much starving yourself which is not good if you intend to retain any amount of muscle

I do intermittent fasting most days. I usually don't eat till noon or 1300
AFTER cardio or weight lifting. then usually just a shake.
I get to eat a big meal for Supper and that is satisfying!

Because your body needs those nutrients? Carbohydrates are the
source of many important substances. Consider blending vegetables,
fruits, and other foods in some amounts for your fast. This is a much
better idea than just doing something like water.

Fasting cannot really lose weight but it is the ability to control youir apetite which is the real problem. Fasting can make you fatter if you don't change after the fast.Learn to control the desire, learn to eat only when you are physically hungry.
I don't believe this is correct at all. During the time you are fasting your body will use free floating lipids (or fat) as a primary energy source which equates to more fat loss. If you gorge during your non-fasting time you will not lose any extra fat but if you are at or right below maintenance, you do lose fat.
I'm more like this too...and I can go all day. The less I eat the less hungry I get. I usually have a problem under eating once I cut the carbs out, my appetite diminishes... I would rather go longer fasted on a day I'm not doing any work. I really like the results I get... when I actually stick to a good plan that is....

Well of course. Fasting just speeds it up, and as far as I'm concerned is a good thing in order to give the system a brief break from digestion. The subject would still need to keep a proper deficit in the long run because this is what matters most. If appetite is an issue yes. For some people it isn't an issue.
