    Bulking stuck

    I'm currently bulking anyway
Some events caused me to be forced to eat out I had a chicken parma and gained from 75 to 77.6(fat proba)
Then dropped to 76.8 and now I look more cut is there any reason why and if it's ok to eat a massive amount of something not exactly "clean" once every 3 weeks to help my weight go up?. (sorry if makes no sense can't workout how to explain corrently)

Read the "Refeeds and Leptin" sticky at the top of this forum, and all your questions will be answered.

    ThreeGigs, he's bulking, not cutting.

rezkon, you weighed in 2.6 kg heavier and think you gained that much fat overnight? Really?
Wondering where to start? Confused? "Homework 1" will get you started.

I know, but the whole cheat meal/refeed idea in that thread sounds like it's exactly the answer to what he was asking, i.e. will a big meal once in awhile hurt anything? I was also wondering if perhaps he wasn't eating enough, and the carbs from the meal got stored as gycogen, making his muscles look bigger, hence his comment about looking more cut. The suggested reading wasn't to show him how to cut, but to show him what the effects of an occasional cheat meal are, which (and I might be wrong) I'm guessing led to some of the effects he noticed.

Leptin falls during energy restriction. It won't need to be bumped up during a bulk - besides, low leptin stimulates hunger.
