How tall are you? At 265 lb., I don't think you would need the N-large. I think you need to concentrate on quality protein and cut your carbs way down to trim up! You also may want to post any workout schedule you may have to help with the questions.

Definately lost the N-Large and switch to just a whey sahke with maybe an apple or something....lose the Nitro Tech bar with the Sub too. I would also stop drinking juice,,,empty calories and switch to water or calorie-free drinks or something.
    Searching for the right balance...

meal #1: twinlabs N-large protein shake

As others have said...N-large isn't what you want to be having. It has far too much sugar. If you need to lose fat, taking a gainer shake isn't going to help you much. Switch this to a regular low-carb whey shake like Optimum or Isopure. Then to make a complete meal....mix 40-50 grams of protein w/ 2 tbsp of cream and add water. Add an apple to go w/ this meal....or make a smothie w/ the protein, cream and strawberries. Another good carb source in this meal would be old fashioned oats...not the flavoured kind...too much sugar. Don't forget to add the fat...fat is important in every meal to help control your insulin so you are effectively fat burning

meal #2: subway 6 in sub on wheat w/ turkey, cheese and honey mustard and a nitro tech protein bar

Generally, bread is bad for you, as are protein bars. While some can get away w/ both during a bulk or even maintaining, most will need to get these out of the diet during a cut for optimal results. A better option here would be 3 whole eggs + 3 egg whites plus some veggies like a salad....or chicken & cheese, or tuna & mayo...minus the bread

meal #3: usually fish or chicken
i dont drink sodas, only water or juice i have a 38 in. waist.

The thing w/ juice is that they've taken a nice healthy piece of fruit, removed the fibre and concentrated it making a glass full of juice just a glass full of sugar w/ nothing to slow down the sugar....then they told everyone it was healthy, just like bread. It's not. Lose the juice, replace it w/ water (try for 5 litres a day), increase your fresh vegetable intake to compensate for the vitamins you're not getting from juice anymore....your waist will like you for it.

Fish or chicken is great.....but what are you having w/ it? You need a full meal....fresh veggies w/ an oil based dressing would be great here.....3/4 cup brown rice or 1/2 cup sweet potato (not regular potatoes) would be an ideal carb source. Don't forget...fat in every meal....a tbsp of natural peanut butter would be good as a treat.

i am looking to get a v-taper and bigger arms.
    any help is greatly appreciatted.

    Points to remember......

    a) you need to increase your meal frequency. Eating three times a day is not good enough....Aim for 5-6 smaller meals, spaced 2.5-3 hrs apart, w/ a good balance of protein, fat, & slow-burning carbs in each meal. By eating more frequently, you are telling your body it doesn't need to store the food you give it...it's going to readily have food coming in, on a regular basis, so it can start shedding fat. Every time you eat, your body has to work to digest that food, your body temperature increases, and your body has to work to regulate itself.....this is an increase in metabolism....which means your body is burning extra calories.

    b) Insulin is a hormone....it is released whenever we eat carbs. Some carbs cause a big release...some a smaller release....we always want to eat the kind of carbs that release insulin slowly, w/o a huge spike, it is best for maintaining a constant energy and continuing fat-burning, as fat can not be burned in the presence of large amts of insulin. Dietary fat and fibre also help to control insulin secretion....this is why we need a balance of meals.

    c) You need to workout...w/ weights....every time you workout w/ weights, you increase your metabolism, remember that's a good thing....a body w/ more muscle is going to burn more calories at rest....so work on increasing your lean muscle mass.

    d) I had another point but I forgot it, lol
