It wasn't sure if anyone reads the journals so I decided to post in here. After 2 weeks of eating and lifting I already gained 10 pounds!!!! As a hardgainer/ectomorph this is a miracle for me. I haven't gained weight in 6 years.
I was 141# now I am 151# in just 2 weeks!!!! I am also getting a stronger in my lifting. FYI ![]() Last edited by ectomorph141 : 02-10-2003 at 09:10 AM. |

P-funk
I know some of it must be fat but I can't seem to find it anywhere. My abs are the first things I expected to loose but they are getting more ripped and more defined. I think a lot of the weight is in my legs too. I hardly had any muscle at in them and now they are getting harder and my chest is getting weird muscles I have never seen. Actually as you can see in my photos I didn't really have a chest--lol Well I am definetely seeing results anyway and so is everyone around me-especially if I take off my shirt. I feel so confident right now. I look forward to every workout and just crush myself in the gym. I am 100% dedicated to this. Even on the weekend I get at least 6 meals. I bring food everywhere I go ![]() |

Congradulations!!
Your muscles are probably filling out from the excess carbs/calories. Keep up the good work! |

T/Y I also realize most of it is probably water since i drink over a gallon a day pssssssssssss
This site has been so helpful to me and everyone is so nice. Its great watching everyone get stronger and shape their body the way they want. Everyone in here really busts their butt and in all the pics I have seen it really shows. |

Remember exctomorph that much of the initial weight gain is from cell volumization....water weight...as well as digestive bulk in the intestines....the weight gain will definately slow but be patient....weight from this point onward should be "actual" bodyweight gain.
Keep up the great work. Your motivation is amazing. Keep the fire burning bud....can't wait to see the long-term results ![]() |

Gaining weight is "all" diet, wether you gain fat or muscle depends on dietary balance and your workout.

I was thinking about waiting until the 3 months before I posted pics. What do you think? Should I do it every months?

That's due to nerve damage from all of the frickin' ECA crap I've ingested recently.

Yeah...monthly pics would be great that way we can give you advice as to how things are progressing. An objective opinion is always good.
Monthly pics are far enough apart to determine the effect your diet is having on you weight/composition/muscle mass. |

Self proclaimed.....it runs in the family. I have an uncle in Miami who claims to be the mayor of Boogerville, N.C.
In fact, he's the one who gave me the title.ECA? Only before work-outs. I WAS going to start a journal, but I've been such a smart ass with you people I'd never get any sincere input. w8 and TP would probably be telling me to increase my table sugar and cornbread intake or something. ![]() |

You should start a journal. I am going to start one as soon as my cut is over in 7 weeks. I don't have time to do it right now.

Sorry ecto not you. I was replying to DaMayors quote. I know you started a journal, I think I replied to it once or twice.

Well done, Ecto-morph. Good work.
Seems you weren't quite the hardgainer you initally thought you were. Enjoy your new muscles. |
