    Unhappy Heeelllppp!!

    Good Morning to all,

I am having a little problem with my weight. I am lifting mostly everyday at the gym and do approximately 30 minutes of cardio. Now my big concern is that I am not losing weight but gaining. My eating habits are not the greatest. This is what my eating habit are:

    Breakfast:
    bowl of cereal
    cup of milk 2%

    Snack:
    golf size handful of peanuts
    glass of arizona tea.

    Lunch:
    Depends if I am hungry

    Snack:
    protein shake

    Dinner:

What ever I make for the family.

Also I eat a lot of junk food when I am depressed or bored. Also is hard for me to do portion control. I will like to lose 20 lbs by my wedding date. I will like some help to meet my goal or a diet that will help me get cut as I have gained muscle but I don't see any muscle cuts. I just want to lose also for my health as I had a liver transplant 8 month ago and I have gained about 60lbs in those 8 months. Please help and I appreciate all the help!!

Get a regular eating plan! Plan what you're going to eat, preportion lunches in advance for the week and count your calories.
Calculate your maintenance calorie amount and eat 400-500 less than that. Lift weights HEAVY 3 times at least a week. You'll drop the pounds in less than 3 months.

    squigader,

Thanks for the response. I appreciate the advise. I have a question about calculating the maintenance calorie amount and eat 400-500 less than that? I have to watch out how heavy I lift due to my transplant is not totally healed but once I am good to do heavy I will be lifting heavy. Thanks for the advice and help!!

Please read homework 1 in my sig and post up a sample plan once you've worked through the exercise.

    We'll help you from there.
