confused by your question a bit. ne body at any weight and height would be better off at 10% bf as opposed to 20%. Sounds like ur buddy is a big dude tho.
Friend weighs 235 and he is 5'7 what would be an acceptable body fat percentage range?

I mean the average percentage for that height and weight
For a 22 y.o male
And yes he's big aha

Do the BMI calculations: Calculate Your BMI - Standard BMI Calculator
Its not necessarily the best way to look at things in terms of "What is healthy" (i.e. most top notch BB athletes would probably calculate to being obese for their height / wt - but not looking at bodyfat. But it does speak to "average" people.
At that height and weight, your boy is either stacked or flabby. Stacked is better.

I would just go on the belly. Find out the size of his jeans. At 5'7" I would think if they're 34 or less then he's ok.

CAN ANYONE give me advice on how to curb sugar cravings? I am trying to lose weight and it's going well but I know my biggest issue is sugar consumption. Help please!

Welcome to IMF - suggest you start a new thread instead of going off on a sidebar in this one. Please also include the details of your diet right now. I.e. list your current meal plan & portions. Put a typical day's meal plan into a food counts program like FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal and post up the total cals and macronutrient breadkdown (% & grams of protein, fats & carbs) for your whole day's meal plan.
Also please list your current training regimen and your stats.
Often the sugar cravings can be brought under some control by cutting out the really sugary stuff and processed crap in your diet, Schedule a once per week cheat meal (not DAY) where you can look forward to some of whatever is your favorite cheat. Random cheats are usually one of the biggest ways to sabotage your diet.
