
For all of you who dont know, I am skinny/fat, I was 9 stone with little to no muscle and loads of fat, now I am about 10 stone and have been lifting for about 1-2 weeks, I know most of it probably water weight, I havent gained much fat but realised my muscles on my arm are a little bit bigger, I am not sure if is just fat ontop of them or muscle, I have dont allot of research and found that most or allmost all the links and videos I have seen say you can gain muscle and loose fat at the same time, I checked for skinny fat guys and most tell me that you have to build muscle and while being a beginner at weight lifting if you eat at mantainance level calories you will gain muscle and loose weight. I am not saying that this is 100% right because I have never tried doing this, I just want your opinion on what I should be doing, because I know you need a calorie sulpru for gains and defect for fat loss but is it different for begginers?
