Cheese - Nature's Blessing or Evil Temptation?
So I guess since no one's talking, my whole gay theory must be true. What about cheese, then? Nothing really wrong with cheese, right? Necessary source of lipidated fats, right? Nothing better than a slice of of pizza after a workout. And some Ding-dongs.

I am married (to a female), and again I fail to see how one's sexual orientation has any bearing on their knowledge in bodybuilding.
you seem very homophobic, does that concern you? |

Dude...I believe you must be a troll...perhaps from some other useless site that will remain nameless. If you are seriously trying to learn here, I strongly suggest you stop insulting people before you ask their advice. One more post that insults someone and I shut it down!

Who did I insult? That would imply that I think of being gay as something derogatory, which I don't. Do you? Troll, on the other hand, is a pretty obvious insult, but maybe that's how newbies are treated here.

As far as cheese goes.. its all about what you want to give up, and what a priority to you. Cheese is high in fat. Fat is high in calories. In order to be fit, you shoul dhave a calorically efficient diet vs. your activity level. Cheese isnt very high in protein (compared to the net calories).. you need protein in order to build muscles. If your diet is primarily comprised of fat and carb calories, you arent getting th ebuilding blocks you need in order to build muscle. |

Suzy-Q's have more simple carbs and are better for post-workout insulin boost. I usually have three of those within 10 minutes after working out. |

how do you know I am being sarcastic? for you to know that you must already posses some knowledge in diet and nutrition, thus you are the one asking sarcastic questions that are pretty stupid. even someone without any knowledge knows that ding dongs are unhealthy and provide no nutritional value. |

okay here is your answer:
I think that StrutDaRoosta summed up the question of eating cheese, it depends on your goals. As far as eating pizza post work-out, assuming that is a serious question, it is a very poor choice. First of all pizza is loaded with fat and the absorption rate will be extremely slow. Secondly, the bv of protein in cheese is a bit low as it is from casein. Post work-out you want a protein that has a high bv, such as whey (best choice), and you want quick absorption so that your body can begin muscle repair, thus you want low fat content for faster absorption. |

Hey Ding Dang - I appreciate the snide advice. Not man enough to handle a 6 pack? Can't drink a 6 pack and still maintain your six pack?
