    On cycle Clean Bulk questions

    6'2
    205lbs
    14%bf
    lifting 5+
Test 600 weekly 5 weeks then up to 750 last 5 if all is well
Super DMZ kicker first 4 weeks

Hey guys I'm gonna start my cycle next Monday and have a few questions about diet. I plan to start upping my calories Monday and ending up with 5000 calories within a week or week and a half. I've been cutting recently at 1500 or below and it is probably going to be hell eating that much food at first but I'll get over it.

I'm afraid this might be too many calories but its my first cycle and I'll be damned if I'm not gonna feed myself enough food. If I notice too much fat gain I will drop the calories 500 or so till I'm happy without hindering gains. Also, how many grams of carbs per day? 300? 400? I want to make sure I'm getting enough since I've got a bad outlook on them since I've been cutting for the past year. Went from 265+ to 200 in that year and frankly I'm kind of ready to not eat like a bird. I do plan to bulk 85%-90% clean.

Anyway I'll get on with it. What would you guys suggest? I'm not a hard gainer, hell the fat didn't even "melt" off at 1500 calories with t3, clen, and cardio but I'm happy for now and will cut again after this bulk. Just want to get on with it been waiting to cycle forever it seems! Sorry the the long post but I appreciate all your responses!

    Thanks in advance!

Well I don't have it all lined out I don't start till tomorrow but ill train 5 days a week and cardio 3 or more days a week. I'm planning to get twice my body weight in protein. Over 400 grams each day-as much from whole foods as possible. Carbs will probably be in morning and around workouts. Stuff like nut butters, whole wheat bread, oatmeal, sweet potatoes and brown rice for carbs. Just don't know how many carbs for sure

Edit: my sessions I usually try to keep under an hour of lifting if alone and hour and a half if not. Then I do cardio on top of that 30mins or so

Sounds good, just make sure to cut back a little, you may gain quite a bit of fat with a diet like that, even on gear. 400g of protein is way too much, even on cycle. I would cut it down - try 300g.

Go and calculate your BMR first, and then figure out a decent amount of calories - 5000 is also way too much, even on gear.

Says I need 3300 and that's with moderate activity. I guess ill drop calories to 4500 and protein to 350 maybe. I don't want to under feed myself. It's my first one and I want to get all I can out of it. Thanks for the advice though man!

Hahaha don't worry about underfeeding at that amount! 4500 and 350 is still a little on the high side, you'll definitely put on some fat, but at least you'll maximize gains. Best of luck and let us know how it goes! Consider posting a weekly log here.
