AHA!!! So, the title caught your skills? I had been really hopin' to obtain your attention. The "perfect workout" is not related to perfection. No, it will not cause you to seem like Jillian Michaels or Tony Horton after one go round. What it really is going to do is offer an alternative workout when visiting the gym is not a choice. The "perfect workout" is about simplicity, convenience and effectiveness. It only requires your fitness gear, commitment and total concentration.
Allow me to give some insight. I normally workout throughout the lunch hour (Noon-1:00p.m.), it breaks in the day and pumps me up for that mid-day. (BTW, additionally, it curbs hunger... if ya know what i'm saying) About this particular day, I'd no desire to visit the health club, hop on the treadmill or hit the weights. And So I thought, what could I actually do the following, now to enter an excellent workout. After a little thought, this is exactly what I emerged with. It's uses body weight exercises and cardio, works every major group of muscles (Chest, Back, Shoulders, Core, Legs and arms) and it is kinda fun should you choose it with conviction.
The "Perfect Workout"
*** Note: This routine is performed like a "circuit" (doing each exercise in sequence), no resting among ... the intensity can be you!
** For you personally advanced fitness freaks... you can add Runs or Burpees (Squat- Thrusts) towards the mix.
~ a few minutes of sunshine stretching
~ 20 "perfect" squats
~ 20 "perfect" push-ups
~ 20 "perfect" crunches
For the way you are feeling ( pay attention to the body, it is a great guide ) complete 2-3 circuits. In case your a novice vary the repetitions for your level of fitness. Don't burn yourself too much, but allow it to be challenging!
OK, you are most likely asking " What is a perfect push-up?" It is rather simple. This is when perfection is necessary. Every exercise requires proper form to work. This is when meditation meets boot camping. Focus on every movement, keep the back straight, your core engaged and feel parts of your muscles work. Be slow and smooth. Be Perfect! You will experience a really satisfying burn after each circuit. The squats work your quads, hamstrings, butt, calves and core muscles. The push-ups work the chest area, back, shoulders, arms and, if done properly, the core also. Clearly, the crunches attack the core muscles, which, most likely is an essential group of muscles within your body. And, the 3 exercises address the core.
But, don't hold on there! Now... grab your cap, glasses and enthusiasm. We are headed out for any 20 minute "energy walk".
Energy walking is exactly what works best for me. You are able to individualize the cardio part of "an ideal workout" for your preferences. If you want running, go for this. In case your an exercise master, that actually works too! The primary factor gets in a minimum of twenty minutes of cardio. To help keep it fresh, have several routes to select from. A big change of scenery or perhaps a tougher path ( i.e. hilly ) just increases the workout experience.
The "perfect workout" is made for simplicity (no weights, mats, benches or balls), convenience (any time, 30-35 minutes max of exercise time) and effectiveness ( working virtually all of the muscles and including cardio to provide an overall total body fitness experience). It is good for the very busy working professionals, stay-at- home moms or fathers ( if they are of sufficient age, obtain the kids involved) or home based business entrepreneurs, who would like an exciting workout, but either, do not have enough time or even the need to go to their local health club. You, my buddies, result in the "perfect workout" perfect. By providing your maximum effort, and focusing on carrying out the actions perfectly, the "perfect workout" could be a effective tool inside your fitness toolbox.
