how many cals? on a 3000cal diet, you're getting 1000+ calories a meal. You need to space them out to avoid getting fat! It'll dramatically slow down your metabolism eating only 3 meals.
If I'm taking in essentially the same amount of calories, P, Cb, Fts, with 3 meals/day, do I still need to eat 5-6 meals?
if it dont hurt, it didnt work

No way, you want a min. of 5 meals per day spaced evenly apart. We smaller meals more frequently to increase our metabolism. You should try reading the Best Nutritional Thread Sticky at the top of Diet and Nutrition Forum. That should answer most of your questions.![]()

What do you guys think about eating the 3 meals a day to slow the metabolism for bulking?
Seems to me, a hard gainer might benefit from it.
Cool![]()
Thats a good point, but it might only produce more fat. hardgainer actually probably needs more meals than that to get enough protein and such.![]()

That would be counter-productive to staying in "positve nitrogen" balance....the body would not be able to maintain a strong flow of macronutrients....literally hampering tissue rerpair and synthesis. More meals flood the body with amino pepetides..allowing more growth potential!Originally posted by Scotty the Body
