    What type of Casein Protein?

I've been told this is the best protein to use in my last shake of the day (8:30) as it's slow digesting.....(the rest of the day I usually use Whey)....

I'd like to find it in a large jug like Whey and not in packets....is there a brand people recommend best?

    I appreciate the info...

I just eat cottage cheese (which is a great source of casein) or I have a whey shake with some flax or heavy cream and sometimes slowburning carb with it before bed.

The rest of the day when you are drinking whey you are mixing it with fat and/or a carb source right?

30g Whey protein with water and a TSP of flax seed oil, yeah....

At night I'd been mixing Whey with skim milk....but want to replace it with Casein...

Any suggestion on a brand that comes in a jug?

I think casein is a better choice of protein for your last shake.I don't know where to get it in a big container. You could always stick with the milk instead and get the casein that way.

I can never find casein either but I don't like the idea of milk becuase of the sugar. You can blend a shake with whey and cottage cheese. It tastes good. Or you can buy egg protein and most health stores or GNC and mix it with the whey for a blend.

GNC has a new product called PM Protein. I think it is 40% Casein.
