Carbs are not the enemy, protein is not the enemy and fat is not the enemy. A semi decent diet (i'm talking for regular joe donut here, not a bb'er) coupled with some kind of physical activity will keep someone from becoming obese or will take of fat and keep it off, assuming you continue eating sensibly and exercising.
