You could add a meal, but not that high in cals. Since you're staying awake longer, your more active for a longer time and burning more cals that day. But if you're sedentary during your work, you shouldn't add too many cals.
Usually around the weekends my sleep cycles get screwed up because of my job. I don't go in to work until about 10:30, and dont get to bed until around 3:30-4.
For example, today, i got up and had breakfast around 9. Been eating roughly every three hours... normally my sixth meal would fall around 11:30-12 pm, and then id go to bed. Tonight, though, im working until around 3:30 am. Is it better for me to add a 7th meal, and bring my cals up to like 3k (from a normal 2500 or so), or just to stick to my normal 6 meals a day and not eat anything?
Hope i explained all that somewhat coherently... :/

so if im normally at 2500 cals w/ 6 meals, a seventh at the normal meal size would bring me to around 2920 cals. Should i make this last meal smaller? Like no more than 250 cals?Originally posted by Yanick

250 sounds okay. I mean there is no way that we can tell exactly how many cals you will burn at any given time, so your guess is as good as mine.

You know thats a very good question. Like right now, I just woke up and I am probably up for the next 24 hours cuz of things I gotta do tomorrow and I don't have time to sleep tomorrow during the day. I was gonna plan on spreading my meals across but its too long to be awake so I think I'm gonna throw in an additional protein shake.![]()
