Zinc and Copper have an influence....and a supp called IP6..Inositol hexaphospate (also good for stomach and colon cancers), can chelate iron "out" of your system :D
Is this for you or that "other" board? :D (doesn't matter, how ya doing? :D)
Iron can also inhibit some meds..esp thyroid...and St John's Wort.

For me.
I just started taking liver tabs, and now I'm freaked out because of Mercola's article saying that anything over 30mg of iron a day is bad. My multivitamin is already at 18mg, and I'm taking 6 liver tabs a day...
If you've ever given plasma, you might be familiar with a 'copper' taste in the mouth. Well, I'm getting that taste after I take these tabs.
I'm freaking out over here!
... other than that, I've been good. :) How 'bout yourself?
fluffy, on the 'other' site :D found this, which is scaring the shit out of me even more...

"Vitamin C is especially dangerous in the presence of high body iron stores, which make vitamin C violently prooxidant (1, 6, 7). For genetic reasons (7), more than 10% of American whites and perhaps as many as 30% of American blacks have high body iron.
For consumer protection, every advertisement and label for vitamin C and/or iron supplements should warn: Do not take this product until your blood iron status has been determined. Six percent of Americans are in negative iron balance, and this product may help them. Twelve percent of Americans are in positive iron balance and this product may hurt them."
Good here too! :p
You know I researched the iron at 1 mg per tab...you're gonna have to go Iron free ASAP in the Vit...come up here and I'll set you up....lol
I did the same thing and my Fe ( Hematocrit) hit 55 where 52 is high.......had to give blood a few weeks ago which screwed me up...the plus side is your Hemoglobin has an iron molecule center and improves as well...
And if you do a Multi Mineral...make that Iron free as well! :D
Plus, no Chocolate :finger: It's higher in iron than Spinach

This is part of conspiracy called CODEX, an attempt to dose vitamins/supps as they do in some countries as Pharmaceuticals, available with perscription only! :D Only the drug companies win, and they have a lot of $$$ behind it
I have seen the negative studies used for this justification before.

Thanks DP. I can always count on you. I'll start the iron-free multi immediately.
Any shows coming up? You planning on whipping my ass anytime soon?
I have one to three competitors in July NPC...and one maybe in the NABBA, also July...you just missed the NPC last week..I had E-mailed you earlier in the month about it....
Your ass is 'toast' as some as you leave the "Oven" :D

Vit C is an antioxidant right? excess protein gets oxidized if too much is ingested? so have i been doing the right thing by taking about 800mg (C supp + multi vitamin) immediatley after i lift with my protein shake (Whey, 50g protein)? is this ok or not?
Take you multi with meal one..as it probably has "C" in it which is water soluble....(unless timed released)...that "C" will stay with you about 3-4 hours...then take your extra "C" post W/O :D
