Federal health officials are beginning talks to revise the Food Guide Pyramid, which recommends six to 11 servings of bread, cereals, rice and pasta each day. Some officials are calling for changes to cut back on the servings of grains and remove them from the foundation
Finally....but...

that would take years I bet to change with all the bureaucracy AND esp. the opposition from the grain / manufacturing industry

A side note from politics...

Just as we speculated that many would shift to Ephedera free products soon (it's been a slow shift as the regular products still abound)

Many have gone to L/C breads, bagels, tortillas, cereals, and bake mixes....perhaps 40-50% of my L/C sales

Thermo-Pro by Prolab just fell, along with Charge from Labrada....

Some distributors dropped VPX because they won't supply insurance...etc
