    Weight Loss... with a deadline!

Mid October i started my health/training program. At that time i was 262lbs. I am now down to 230lbs. I have my flight booked for August 7th to a vacation in beautiful Ibiza! So my goal is to get down to 205lbs by then. Is this a realistic goal? What must i do in order to get there. I will do whatever it takes! I do weight training 4 days a week, and cardio 4-5 days a week. Thanks in advance.

Possible? Yeah, I suppose. Healthy? No.
Believe me, I can relate to your sense of urgency, but wouldn't it be better to lose the weight slowly, and keep it off?
Post your stats (age, height, weight,BF, diet...cals, p/c/f etc.)and let some of those more experienced have a look....they may have valuable information to share. Other than telling you to be patient, I would hate to speculate without all of the info. (hey guys, I just told someone to be patient...Ha!)

    Good Luck!

Basically, what you are looking to do is lose 2lbs a week for about 12 weeks? (May-Aug.=3months x 4 weeks a month=12 total weeks x 2lbs a week= 24lbs......230-205=25lbs to loose). Ouch, that is rough. If I am cutting I like to try and lose .5-1lb per week but I would say you could safely go to about 2lbs a week of weight loss. Yur diet is just chicken (how much chicken in each meal), veggies(what kind of veggies), rice(brown or white) and two protein shakes (what kind of protein shakes? whey? casein? egg? a blend? Do you mix them with anything? carbs or fat?)?

First of all I would say you need to get more fat into that diet. How many times a day are you eating? You also might want to think about cooling it on the cardio. Are you still losing any weight or has your progress stopped? Do you carb up at all? Do you know the macronutrient breakdown of your diet daily (protein/carbs/fat). If you want to lose 2lbs a week for the next 12 weeks you are going to need to really be strict with your diet and training....like DM said I don't know how healthy that could be.

    Sorry for all the questions...

    Sorry for all the questions...

Thanks for the response. And to answer your questions...
I have 1.5 chicken breasts per meal
    The rice is brown.
The veggies are mixed (brocolli, corn, peas, carrots)
I actually drink three shakes a day... two if i dont weight train.
    They are whey protein.
I mix my afternoon shake with half a banana.
I eat 5 meals a day, six if i weight train.
I am still losing about two lbs a week, but am worried its gonna
get harder as i get leaner.
    I dont carb up.
I dont know the macronutrient breakdown of my diet....

There i think thats all! Why would i want to stop the cardio? I dont care how strict i have to be... i will do whatever it takes! I know it may not be healthy, but right now im worried about looking good on vacation... when i get back ill worry about being healthy!
