I weighed 125 when I started lifting. Eventually I reached close to 270. My bulking foods of choice were always red meat, milk, eggs, pasta, grain bread, fruit, and protein powders.

how long should a bulking stage last?

because ive been trying to bulk the last 4 weeks, only gained 5 lbs though.

since i live in a dorm, ive gotta eat the shitty dining hall food

in the morning: i eat a omlet (ham, onion, olive, peppers), sometimes jsut regular scrambled eggs (bout half a plate) and sometimes just 2 hole boiled eggs

lunch i usually have a some salad wit olives and tomatoes, wit a little bit of italian dressing

wit a turkey or beef sandwich.

before i workout i at around 8, i have a scoup of optium whey and 12 oz of fat free milk

right afterwards, i have a cup of fat free milk, and a turkey sandwich

does this seem to be a good plan, and i dun do cardio while im bulking is that right?

A bulking program can last as long as you wish. I really bulked for the first 3 years of training! 5 lbs in four weeks isn't too bad...hell, if you kept up that pace, you'd weigh 60 lbs more in a year!

I think you are doing well with what is available to you. If your gains slow down, add in another shake made with whey and milk during the day...or even in the middle of the night. Rome wasn't built in a day, and niether will your body.

im not sure if its muscle or fat though, heh.

while you were "bulking" did you do cardio 3 times a week?
or did u don none for the first 3 years?

right now, i dun relaly do any cardio except i do Muay Thai Kickbox on monday and wednesday, we do some light running and some jump roping, but i dun really consider it to be any cardio

should i be doing cardio 3 times a week?
