P.S. I haven't gained or lost a lb. in the 4 months i've been doing this plan.
I want to build lean muscle and keep fat to a minimum.
Should I be eating more to bulk up?
I've been able to increase the weights at the gym, and I'm pretty sure I can see some muscle growth. So, could it be possible that my weight stays the same because I'm gaining muscle weight, but losing fat weight??
J'Bo-
- I joined the gym about 2 years ago, but had no clue what I was doing until about December 2002. Now, I've been doing a 4-day split. 1. Chest/Tri's, 2. Back/Bi's, 3. Legs, 4. Shoulders. After warmup sets I do ~3 diferent exercises of 3 sets for each bodypart, 4-6 rep range.
- I do not do cardio at the moment, but summer is coming and I love to Hike and Mountain bike. Probably do this for pleasure on a sunday afternoon.
- Not sure what bf I want to get to, but I want it low enough to start showing a little six-pack and some nice cuts here and there.
-do you have any cuts right now?
-you know you may be staying at the same weight because your building muscle while slowly losing bf (this is a good thing)
It's a periodization plan designed by a couple of trainers that mixes light cardio, and 4 days a week of weight training.....I'm sure some here would have something to say about some parts of it, but it's working for me (with some slight modifications and addition of some exercises)
The diet is essentially straight from these boards (See the nutrition sticky thread The doc of pain links to). I use flax instead of heavy cream, and I drink more shakes each day than I should...but it's a work in progress that I keep tinkering with....
