    Stretch marks

Ok, Ive been lifting really hard for the past months. Im gaining lots of strength (450 bench), and getting less body fat and more muscle mass. Doing so, Im getting these stretch marks, especially around the inside bicep area. Why? I thought only obese people got stretch marks. Somone told me that its because my body is growing too fast for my skin? this really sucks And, will they go away eventually?

Wow...most people don't get stretch marks like that unless they have a little help w/ chemicals

They're not going to go away...but they will fade eventually, and I'm assuming your growth will slow at some point, lol....best thing you can do is to keep your skin well hydrated and moisturized. Get a good lotion and apply it morning and night, and if you tan...after tanning as well.

I have the same stretch mark issue on my front delt. I lost about 70 lbs a year and a half ago and have been trying to put muscle back on ever since. I was hoping that my size would eventually catch up to the skin and fix it . I'm probably just dreaming. And I am black, so tanning is out of the question (I can't get any darker!)

Some people are much more prone to stretch marks.

Luckily I have very few, good skin I guess.

There is only one true way to get rid of stretch marks. It has been proven to do so but it is unreasonably expensive. Its a new lazor treatment therapy. I considered getting it because i have the stretch marks on my legs arms and hips. Its horrible. But the price for 1 session is about 500 dollars. And you need at least 5 sessions per area. And i have what like 6 areas just from arm to arm leg to leg, and hip to hip. Eventually i hope the price goes down for it.

Heres a link on the way i found out about it.
