i'm 6'3" and about 205lbs. 3 weeks left of a 12 week "on" bulk. (about 20% bf i think)
my questions is this:
immediately after recovering from being on for 12 weeks, would it be possible for me to begin cutting for next summer so soon?
i would be worried that i would lose everything i have worked so hard to get if i begin cutting so soon, but at the same time part of me wonders why time frame would matter. as long as i balance this cut with proper nutrition and good cardio...
so i wonder if i should try to maintain this weight for a month or two before trying to cut bodyfat down, or if i can immediately start??
are you cutting with any compunds? whats your plan? as youve already stated good diet and cardio will be the way to go along with proper pct and diet you should be able to maintain the majority of your gains. fasted cardio first thing in the morning will burn the most fat. there will always be some muscle loss but it can be kept to a bare minimum.
My plan would be to PCT, and then cut naturally until about a month out from summer. In which time i will more than likely start a "summer cycle"
Until then i am looking into the pros and cons of Intermittent fasting...
Ive heard great things about IF, also look into carb cycling or carb back loading ive been carb cycling for a few weeks now and its working well. do a solid pct eat very clean train just as hard, add in some cardio 3-4x a week 30-45minutes and i think you will do great. as far as when to do it, in your case i would do it after pct if youre worried about your gains. you have all of winter to cut so there isnt any rush.
