I have no science behind this to back it up, but I can't imagine that would be any kind of issue to pre-mix your shake. If the protein broke down it would break down into amino acids. which is what happens in your stomach anyways so your body can use it.

I make a shake with 16oz milk, 2 scoups whey, 3/4 cup oats, and 2 tbsp of peanut butter. I add a handful of ice and blend it up in the morning. I drink it for mid morning and mid afternoon snacks. It comes out to about 24oz so it gives me 12oz per meal. Its filling and I dont worry about the sitting for 8-10 hours. I dont know if I'd blend it the night before only because it might get real thick from sitting if you're using oats. I doubt it would go bad in 24 hours or lose much if any value.

Pre mixed protein shake storage time?

Idk why but some brands of protein (don't recall who) specifically read on the label to consume within 30 mins of mixing... Thoughts?
