    Carb ups confused...

...Right i've read the thread Tweaks for s/Low Carb, Mod fat Diet and am a little confused on the carb ups.On the 5th day(or wot ever day you chose to carb up)of low carbs etc wen you are about to carb up do you spread the carbs out though the day e.g 6 meals,or do you just have one big carb meal?Allso how many carbs should you be aiming to carb up with?I'm 161lbs at the moment, not carbing up or nothing yet just curiouse so when i did i don't get to much wrong

    Thanx in advance

The important thing it to learn "Why".......depending on your daily carb profile, your metabolism and your level of depletion (glycogen)...you may not need carb-ups at all.....or as Poliquin uses them on his client's who's BF is too high for their sport, one every five days....or the way we like then, 2 X a week.

Then say if your daily carbs were 60 or over....we might even do a CU, 40 and under, mostly 2 X week.....something like:

    1 to 1.5 cups oats
    6-8 oz SP
    1 banana
    1 cup veggies
    1 T butter
