    mid morning - cereal bar

    lunch - tuna sandwich/crisps/mousse

    mid afternoon - apple

I am looking to lose fat whilst not losing too much muscle. I am trying to workout every 1-2 days. 1/2 hour heavy basic & 20 mins cardio...

Hmmmmm i can't answer as well as others but i say you need to add alot more Protein(try and aim for 1lb body weight 1gram protiene aday) to your meals and drop Corn flakes/cereal bar/crisps/mousse,and swap them for Brown rice,Cheese,Eggs, oats etc.Have you read the Nutrition FAQ - Newbies Start Here! ?.There are some very clever pepole on here sure they will help you alot more then i have!

To answer some of your questions:

Drop the cereal bars. Cereal Bars are sugar havens. Too many high GI carbs in your diet. More protein and your snacks should encompass mini meals (with protein being incorporated into each one)

Eat 5 meals a day (focusing on protein, EFA's, and low GI carbs)

Thats just some basic help...a bit more of a breakdown on your typical dinner schedule would help as well.
