    Proteins & Steroids/Hairloss

Hello folks. Where can I find a comprehensive list of all the best proteins
I.e. Tuna, steak, veg. This is gunna be my last and most successful attempt
at the gym, and I'm determined to hit it full on. I've been "in bursts"
before but always lacked motivation after several months. At 29 I'm running
outa time to make a big difference.
Can steroids affect hairloss. as I'm receding faster than the south coast
shoreline I could do without anything else speeding up the process.
thanks for any info in advance . Matt

Diet forum! There is also a gear forum for those questions. Hair loss is primarily genetic and can generally only be SPED up by use of gear, if MPB runs in the family then you have to worry and accept that you may very well speed up the process.

here is a list of proteins and their BV (biological value):

    Whey Protein Isolate Blends 100-159
    Whey Concentrate (Lactalbumin) 104
    Whole Egg 100
    Cow's Milk 91
    Egg White (Albumin) 88
    Fish 83
    Beef 80
    Chicken 79
    Casein 77
    Rice 74
    Soy 59
    Wheat 54
    Beans 49
    Peanuts 43

The Biological Value, or BV, of a protein is an indicator of the quality of the protein. It is a measure of a protein's ability to be used by the body (or its bioavailability). It is a percentage (though the scale is skewed resulting in some BV's of greater than 100) of the absorbed protein that your body actually uses. Biological Values are indicators of which proteins are best at aiding nitrogen retention in muscles to help them maintain or grow in mass.

Whey is off the chart because it wasn't around for testing obviously way back when, and nobody expected anything better anyway.

I think if you're going bald just concede and shave the lot. Having a totally bald head can look good and make you look like a toughass, but trying to hang on to the remnants of your hair with combovers never looks good.
