Fast food options??
Sometimes in the a.m. I am quite rushed and don't allways have the time to make breakfast before leaving for work, so my options are to eat fast food or not eat at all.
Is there anything on the menus at McDonalds, BK or Jack in the box that would suffice as "semi healthy" breakfast food?
Or would it be better to fast through breakfast?

I don't know what they serve sorry. Its been YEARS since I've been to a fast food joint.
What I wanted to say is whats wrong with a protein shake? It takes less time to make that and either suck it back or bring it in the car with you, than it would to go through the Drive Thru at McDonalds.
Shaker bottles are great to have!

Ya, you can order just eggs scrambled, and you can ask them to use the real eggs, it take a little longer, since they use the boxed eggs to make the scrambled, so they have to cook up the real eggs, but 4 or 5 eggs regular isn't too bad.

I'll just repeat the above...why not a protein shake and an apple...that takes less time than ordering at the drive-thru...got it?

5am!!!! Don't be a wuss!
I cook all my meals the night before. I still wake up at 3am to ccok my eggs, turkey and oatmeal for breakfast.......Sometimes you need to get your priorities straight. I hate hearing people say they can't do it because it is hard. You bet your butt it is hard and I don't always want to wake up that early or eat the same thing everyday but I do it because my health is what is important to me. That is a decision that you need to make for yourself. Like they said, a protein shake can be fast and easy. There should be no excuses.

TBoy looks like we're all on your case. Either get up earlier or drink a shake real quick. No excuses.

 Tough "love"?
Well, again this morning I was running a little behind BUT I made my shake and drank it at home then took my bowl of oatmeal with me.
Just a shake in the morning never holds me very long.
I think I may start a journal if some of you guys would check it out and help....

 Good job!
If the oats are too difficult to do then grab and apple and eat it in the car.
Of course we can check out your journal.

OK...I'm gonna jump on too! Tboy, I think the thread "whats seperates us from them" says it all! You must be willing to go the extra step. Willing to do what your buddies don't do. That is what makes bodybuilders..........it is the dedication and the drive to be the best you can be. If it was easy then everyone would look great. And we know that is not the case!!

2:30 a.m.? What the heck i've never heard of such a thing...I always thought the average work day started at 7 or 8 or earliest 6. But yeah my work starts at 8 a.m., takes me 13 minutes to get there and I wake up at 7:35 sometimes. The best work out of my day probably involves me running around the house getting ready - but I always manage to make a shake and get some oatmeal before I leave and still somehow manage to get there on time or a minute late.

I used to make excuses like that too... but now I learned that if I want to eat healthy, I gotta make time to cook healthy and not eat junky.... faty fast food
just buy a small grill and grill everything you want and put it in a tupper wear and take it with you... its simple man
