For some reason I like to put honey in my cottage cheese. That’s about all I have ever added to it. Most of the time I eat it without anything it doesn’t bother me, I actually like it![]()
i was wondering what you add with it to make it taste better if you're like me and you can't eat it plain. i'm not looking for an elaborate way to fix it, something simple. thanks!

it would make it easier if i didnt have to put anything into it. the only time i ever have it is with lasagna. then you dont even taste it really.
Well I wouldn't suggest honey - LOL!
I know Fit Freak likes to add natural PB and cocoa to his. I like chives or scallions in mine.![]()

Right on...some natty PB and unsweetened Cocoa...but I get crazy looks for this...other people like to add some type of fruit...I have tried strawberries as well as peaches...both are good...and I'm like you I can't eat it plain!
IMO...I wouldn't add honey...too much sugar. If you add fruit just make sure you nutritional plan allows for the extra carbs.
Since I add PB I buy FF cottage cheese otherwise it would be too much fat....if you add fruit you won't need to get the FF kind....maybe 2% that way you have some fat in the meal.
I'm personally also not a fan of dairy fat...hence the FF cottage cheese since most dairy fat is saturated.
Searching for the right balance...
I usually add a dash of seasoning salt to my cottage cheese. This probably isn't too good though.
Sarah
