You will burn the protein as fuel, which would not be the desired outcome, since your whole purpose of doing it on an empty stomach is to not burn food for fuel.
i read that for cutting its really good to do your cardio in the morning... so i was just wondering if should drink my protein first and then do cardio like 20 min later.... i am just worried because i dont want to lose muscle and after 8 hours of sleep i dont have any protein in my body

If you're worried about losing LBM first thing in the morning...my suggestion is to limit the cardio sessions to 40 minutes...max of 45 minutes at a low to medium intensity (approximately 70% MHR)
