    Does the mirror lie?

Like a lot of people on the board, I have been cutting down for summer (trying to get down to 180 from 185-so not a long way to go). Afraid to lose LBM (like most people), I am focusing on diet (hi protein/low carbs) instead of ramping up my cardio (which I do 2-3x/week at most). The problem is that I havent lost any weight (I've actually gained 2lbs.) but my body is looking a better than when I started. Does this happen to other folks. Any thoughts? Here's atypical meal day:

    M1: 5:30 PB&J sandwich
    M2: 9:00-Protein Shake, some fruit
    M3: 12:00-6oz chicken, 1c veggies, nuts
M4: 3:30-60z steak, veggies, oil (sometimes just a shake)
M5: 7:00-Chicken or fish, 1/2c brown rice, veggies
    M6: 10:00-Protein shake (sometimes M5-6 reverse)
Because I'm not on an Atkins Diet nor would I ever do one. I'm a BB not a dieter! - Jodi

Muscle weighs more than fat (by volume)... If you look better in the mirror its a good thing IMO.

I definitely have no complaints. I guess I find it odd, because I dropped my cals somewhat signfantly so I was expecting a weight loss to come with looking better.
